Introduction

Video games have come a long way since their humble beginnings in the early 1970s. From simple arcade games to complex, immersive experiences, the world of gaming has undergone a remarkable transformation. This article will take you on a journey through time, exploring the key milestones, influential figures, and technological advancements that have shaped the history of video games.

The Pioneering Era

The story of video games begins in the early 1970s with the introduction of arcade games. Pong, a simple table tennis simulation developed by Atari, became a global sensation, capturing the imagination of players around the world. The success of Pong paved the way for other arcade games, such as Space Invaders and Pac-Man, which further popularized the medium.

As home computers became more affordable, early video games began to make their way into living rooms. Games like “Space Invaders” and “Asteroids” were among the first to be ported to home consoles, bringing the arcade experience to a wider audience.

The Console Wars

The 1980s witnessed a fierce competition between various companies vying for dominance in the home console market. Nintendo’s NES and Sega’s Genesis emerged as the leading contenders, offering a wider range of games and improved graphics. The rivalry between these two companies fueled innovation and pushed the boundaries of what was possible in gaming.

The Online Gaming Boom

The early 2000s saw the rise of online gaming, as consoles like the PlayStation 2 and Xbox introduced multiplayer capabilities. Games like “Halo” and “World of Warcraft” became cultural phenomena, fostering a sense of community and competition among players. The online gaming boom also paved the way for the development of esports, a professional competitive gaming scene that has grown exponentially in recent years.

The Mobile Gaming Revolution

The proliferation of smartphones and tablets in the 2010s led to a new era of gaming. Mobile games like “Angry Birds” and “Pokémon Go” became massive hits, demonstrating the potential of this platform. Mobile gaming has democratized access to games and introduced new genres and playstyles.

Truly Wireless Earbuds: Best Picks Under 2000

Published

on

earbuds under 2000

Let’s be honest: we all hate wires. This is especially true when it comes to music peripherals like earphones. We have made quite a lot of progress with them. The latest innovation is TWS earbuds, Truly Wireless Stereo, and just like the name, it does exactly what it says. It’s portable and comfortable, so these nifty gadgets are slowly becoming everyone’s favorite.

The brand follows the trend well. You can see that the market now has enough to confuse you. This list will solve your problem so handpicked is a set of best TWS earbuds under 2000 in India. Alright so let’s get on right away and start with the first earbuds on the list.

Top Earbuds Under 2000

1 OnePlus Nord Buds 3

The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 was recently launched, but they are very similar to the Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro. The reason the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 earbuds is under 2000 is that they have dual drivers; therefore, they can deliver more quality bass and treble compared to the Enco Air 3 Pro. In addition, the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 has a better microphone, battery life, and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) compared to the Enco Air 3 Pro.

earbuds under 2000

OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Review

Even with these benefits, the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 ranked second. This is because even though the overall good quality of sound, their default tuning for the sound isn’t as natural as the Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro. One of the reasons why it didn’t top is that default tuning. You can use the in-app custom equalizer to make a more natural sound tuning on the OnePlus Nord Buds 3, but the default still matters to many people.

So, which one is the best choice between the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 and Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro? It depends on your personal preferences. If you value natural and balanced audio more, then the Oppo Enco Air 3 might be your right choice. However, if you prefer a bit of a bass-oriented sound profile along with a good microphone and battery life, then the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 might suit you better.

Regarding design, the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 does not bring anything new and looks very similar to the Buds Pro 2. However, slight changes in dimensions and weight make them slightly narrower and lighter. The matte finish gives a more premium look and does not attract fingerprints.

ANC performance is one of the standouts, with up to 49db noise cancellation. It is on par with other earbuds, such as the Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro or the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro. Transparency mode is also available, and all settings are changeable within the HeyMelody app or within the Bluetooth settings for OnePlus/Realme/Oppo phone users.

Fast pairing with Google’s fast pair support and the latest Bluetooth 5.3 makes for a seamless connecting experience, and the earbuds support a low-latency mode for better synchronization while watching videos.

OnePlus Nord Buds 3’s battery life is impressively delivered almost as what was promised, up to 10 hours without ANC and LHDC and around about 5 hours with LHDC on. The same goes for the charging case, around 30 hours of battery life and even supports quick charging.

It has dual drivers (10.4mm and 6mm tweeter) to deliver clean and energetic sound. The bass response is balanced, not overly powerful, which makes for an enjoyable listening experience. Treble is handled well, providing clarity and detail, although the mid-range could be improved as it sounds a bit congested straight out of the box. However, this can be tweaked with the use of custom EQ settings.

👍 Prons

  • Overall, it has Good Sound quality
  • Good looking Design
  • Amazing Microphone
  • Good battery life
  • In-Ear Detection & Dual Pairing
  • Google Fast Pair
  • Good battery life with fast charging
  • Good app with lots of scope for control customization

👎 Cons

  • Glossy Design Earbuds
  • The default sound signature is not accurate

2 Realme Buds T310

Realme Buds T310 is another great option to buy earbuds under 2000 Rs. The dual-driver setup handles sub-bass and high frequencies pretty well, and because of the driver advantage, they offer a bit more bass by default than the Enco Air 3 Pro.

earbuds under 2000

Like the Enco Air 3 Pro, these earbuds also support LDAC Hi-Res codec, but the overall tuning does not sound natural; again, that is not a disadvantage because each earbud has its own tuning. The Realme Buds T310 is more bass and treble-focused, so, the mid-range does not have any wide space.

One of the most significant strengths of Realme Buds T310 is the capability of drivers, and through the Realme Link app, you have access to as many options, like custom EQ, customizable tuning, features like 360 audio, and much more. The ANC is quite good, even a bit better than the Enco Air 3 Pro because it has a tighter fit, so the effect of noise cancellation will be a bit more intense. I think Realme Buds T310 has the best ANC you can get under 2000 Rs.

It also features a great microphone; in fact, it is the best in this price range. Earbuds handle background noise pretty well. Battery life is good as well, providing you with around 25-27 hours of playback time with normal usage. Earbuds also feature dual pairing, wear detection, a gaming mode, and Google Fast Pair, among others.

One thing I didn’t like is the transparent logo part on top of the charging case. For me, that felt a bit flashy and cheap.

The regular version, Realme Buds T310, looks better to me in design; it has a nice matte finish. The regular version was announced alongside the Pro version, so I consider it as the second option because the basic sound tuning is the same. It does not, however, have the benefit of dual drivers so will not provide the same level of quality sub-bass or high notes as the Pro model, and LDAC is also absent. Dolby is present but it’s hardly a selling point given the paucity of phone support for it.

The ANC performance and battery life are the same, and it doesn’t have any feature of dual pairing or other audio features like 360 audio, but for its price point and considering that if your budget is around 3500 Rs, it’s a great option.

👍 Prons

  • Good Bass
  • Good looking Design
  • Good Microphone
  • Good battery life
  • In-Ear Detection & Dual Pairing
  • Google Fast Pair
  • Good battery life with fast charging

👎 Cons

  • Glossy Design Earbuds
  • The case is a smudge magnet

3 Soundcore Life Note 3i

The Soundcore Life Note 3i is our next choice on the list of best Earbuds under 2000 Rs.

Soundcore might not be widely known in India yet, but it’s a brand by Anker that is quite popular in the US and UK markets. It’s gaining popularity in India slowly. If you’ve ever tried Soundcore headphones before, you’d be aware that their products generally have very good sound quality.

earbuds under 2000

They used to be pretty expensive but now have become a little affordable at around 3900 Rs. The sound quality is pretty good with these earbuds overall. Bass is heavily accentuated in their tuning like with all the other recent Soundcore products. The bass response is amazing, especially in sub-bass, which is created pretty well. It feels deep and punchy and is very enjoyable to listen to.

It should be noted that even though the bass is emphasized, it does not overcrowd other frequencies in the sound quality. The mid-range vocals are a bit narrow and that is common because there is more pronounced bass but it’s not a concern here. The good news is that similar to Realme, Oppo, and Samsung earbuds, the app of Soundcore comes full of features such as custom EQ and preset modes. That means if you want to have less bass and sound more balanced, you will be able to achieve it.

The ANC is pretty promising, like the first two earbuds I mentioned. Battery life is decent, too – you can easily get a total of 25 hours of playback time without ANC. This might be because it does not support advanced codecs, only the standard SBC and AAC codecs.

It also has features like Google Fast Pair, gaming mode, and dual pairing. Now, the microphone of this one is average, not excellent, if talking about minus points. Still, it got a bit better after some software updates. The thing still needs more enhancement. Besides the two earlier earbuds, there is no wear detection nor advanced audio customization features included in the device. Yet, bearing in mind the price and everything else, it is also a pretty good option to be considered here at three.

👍 Prons

  • Good Bass
  • Good looking Design
  • Good Microphone
  • Good battery life
  • In-Ear Detection & Dual Pairing
  • Decent Comfort
  • Good bass reach sound quality

👎 Cons

  • No wear-detection
  • The case is a smudge magnet

4 JBL Wave Flex

If you are looking for half-ear design earbuds under 2000 Rs, then I think JBL Wave Flex is the best option for you, or you can also say that this is the only good option in this price range for now. Despite lacking ANC, JBL Wave Flex comes with several advanced features. It has a unique half-in-ear design, which stands out for comfort, especially for those who find typical in-ear designs less so.

jbl earbud under 2000

Design-wise, they’re simple and practical, nothing too flashy. The charging case is compact and easy to lug around, and the earbuds themselves feel sturdy. One of the greatest gadget and the cost of the earbuds under 2000 is very reasonable for everyone and every person can buy this.

Now, comfort – that’s where JBL Wave Flex shines. They fit snugly so we could wear them for hours without feeling uncomfortable. Plus, they stay put during workouts, so you can also consider these earbuds for sports activity and gym.

Bluetooth 5.2 pairing was seamless and easy. It also supports Google Fast Pair for Android. The JBL Headphones app offers customization for touch controls, sound modes, and a custom EQ for tweaking the sound to your preference.

The battery life is also good. I was able to get around 5-6 hours of playback on a single charge, and with the case, that bumps up to about 24-25 hours. The microphone quality is also amazing, ensuring clear calls in an outdoor noise environment.

Now, let’s talk about sound quality. JBL Wave Flex delivers a clear and natural audio experience with a balanced tuning that does not over-emphasize the bass, keeping mids and highs clear and enjoyable.

Considering the price, I’d say JBL Wave Flex offer solid bang for your buck. If you’re looking for comfortable half-ear design earbuds with good natural sound quality, then you can go with JBL Wave Flex.

👍 Prons

  • Overall, it has Good Sound quality
  • Good looking Design
  • Amazing Microphone
  • Good battery life
  • In-Ear Detection & Dual Pairing
  • Google Fast Pair
  • Good battery life with fast charging
  • Good app with lots of scope for control customization

👎 Cons

  • Glossy Design Earbuds
  • The default sound signature is not accurate

5 Redmi Buds 5

Our next choice on the list of best earbuds under 2000 Rs is the Redmi Buds 5. The new Redmi Buds 5 promises good value with features such as up to 46dB hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), in-ear detection, Google Fast Pair, and a good battery life.

redmi buds under 2000

The Redmi Buds 5 are designed to be simple and practical. They come in different colors, aiming to suit different tastes with a sleek charging case that’s designed for portability. The build has some compromises, so handling them carefully is advised. The Redmi Buds 5 are very comfortable and offer a secure fit, making them suitable for gym and outdoor activities. It is one of the best earbuds under 2000 to purchase the gadget

The Redmi Buds 5 is equipped with Bluetooth 5.3, which ensures easy pairing and stable connections, even with a handy dual connection feature. The ANC is the main highlight of these earbuds. The performance of the ANC is quite decent and works well against ambient chatter, car engine noise, and whirring fans. It might not eliminate loud sounds such as vehicle horns or other extreme outdoor noises.

The sound quality is good for the price, mainly due to the large 12.4mm drivers that make the audio loud and clear with a bass-leaning tuning. Mid and high frequencies are decent, so the audio performance is quite pleasing in general.

The microphone’s quality is good, and it performs well in both indoor and outdoor use. The battery life is also good, with up to 10 hours on a single charge without ANC (50% volume), and the charging case extends total playback time to 30 hours, supporting fast charging for quick top-ups.

With such quality of sound, ANC feature, and practical design, Redmi Buds 5 at Rs. 2,349 is an excellent value. Of course, there are things that can be improved on, such as a gaming mode and custom EQ settings, but these earbuds carry all the essential features that most users will love.

👍 Prons

  • Good Bass
  • Good looking Design
  • Good Microphone
  • Good battery life
  • In-Ear Detection & Dual Pairing
  • Google Fast Pair
  • Good battery life with fast charging

👎 Cons
